Spring 2019 Program Sign Ups!

As the year comes to a close, and Fall 2018 programs finish up, our attention at the CLC has started to turn towards Spring 2019. We have a lot of fun things planned for students, as well as educators, and we are very excited for this new year of literacy learning and collaboration!

The specific ones that are accepting sign ups currently are Book-> Art and 1:1 Literacy Support.

Here is some information about these two awesome programs!

1:1 Literacy Support

Developing a love for literature is an important part of becoming a lifelong reader. This club seeks to help develop that love for literature by linking fun activities with fun books.

Join the Community Literacy Center for six weeks of reading, writing, and making art!

Book->Art is extremely popular  for a reason, make sure that your students and kids don't miss out!

1:1 Literacy Support is based on student-developed goals for reading and writing.

Before starting, students will establish a literacy goal with the support of the CLC staff.

Students then meet individually with a tutor 2x per week for 45 minute sessions. During each session, participants play games and work on activities focused on achieving that goal.

We are really looking forward to the fun and learning that will take place this Spring, and we hope that you will want to be apart of it!
