Resource Share: History Making Productions

Every few weeks, I get an amazing set of resources in my inbox via Amy Cohen at History Making Productions. Today was one of those days, and it reminded me to spread the word about this amazing resource. Her newsletter includes resources for teaching, celebrations of youth and educator work, professional development opportunities, and open grants.

History Making Productions makes documentaries that explore the history of Philadelphia. The documentaries are specific to Philadelphia, but with episodes on yellow fever, civil rights, and Benjamin Franklin, History Making Productions' work has national as well as local application in the classroom.

For each video that History Making Productions makes, Amy Cohen creates a series of teacher materials to go with it.

*We love to share resources we like, but we're only sharing because we hope it'll be useful, not because we're trying to promote any one resource over another.
